Patent Agent, Engineer & Consultant
My career didn't start in patents. I spent eight years in the non-ferrous metals industry, tracking emerging technologies and competitors' patents at a major smelter-refinery in Europe. I learned how industry uses patents to its advantage, and that work sharpened an instinct I still rely on today: read past the surface and understand exactly how and why something works. When I decided to make a career change and return to the US, I studied for and passed the Patent Bar to become a Registered Patent Agent.
I obtain great satisfaction from learning and problem-solving to help clients turn their inventions into enforceable patent rights. My work spans mechanical devices, consumer products, industrial and environmental systems, software, and electronics, wherever the invention takes me. What stays constant is the same attention to detail and desire to get it right with every client.

My Work
A selection of patents I've helped inventors obtain — from design patents to complex utility filings across mechanical, consumer product, and engineering domains.
